Le Service à vues pittoresques de l'Europe was created at the Royal manufactory in 1826 and delivered in batches to the salerooms between 1832 and
1834. The service was then delivered nearly in full to King Louis-Philippe as an intended gift for his daughter Louise, the Queen of Belgium.
